A 12 night, 13 Day immersive experience visiting Chitwan and Bardiya National Parks and the Pipar Pheasant Conservation landscape.
Overview
A wildlife and cultural immersion with safaris, hiking, bird watching, lectures and visiting local villages and enjoying local dishes.
Starting in Kathmandu, visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites, then take a short domestic flight to Nepalgung in the center of Mid Western Nepal to stay in the Bardia National Park, home of the Bengal Tiger and other mammals including the Indian Rhinocerous. Then a short flight to Pokhara and some hiking and birdwatching in the Pipar Pheasant Conservatoin Landscape in the Seti Khola Valley. Then travel to Chitwan National Park to enjoy the diverse wildlife of the Churia Hills and the floodplains of the Rapti, Reu and Narayani rivers.

Your Experience
Starting in Kathmandu, explore the sacred temples and medieval palaces in the Kathmandu Valley, the carved wooden windows, brick courtyards and towering pagoda temples. Then in Bardia jeep safari to search for the Bengal tiger with a professional wildlife photographer and guide. You then travel to the Pipar Pheasant Conservation Landscape where you will be trekking through forests, terraced hillsides and remote villages in one of Nepal's most important pheasant conservation areas. The Himalayan mountains and specifically the famous Macchapuchhre (Fishtail) Mountain provide the stunning backdrop to this. Then in Chitwan National Park there is the opportunity to glide silently along the Rapti River in a dugout canoe past crocodiles and waterbirds. In the grasslands of Chitwan look for rhinos, deer, monkeys and hundreds of bird species in one of Asia's richest wildlife habitats.
